Adjustable Thermocouple

SKU: T060

These adjustable thermocouple use a compression-fitting to securely mount temperature sensors that measure liquid, air, and gas. These probes have compression fittings that allow users to adjust the immersion depth of the probe. An outer compression nut and an inner ferrule or compression ring that are tightened to create a seal. These probes measure the temperatures of liquid, gas, and gel in industrial process applications and production environments.

A compression fitting comprises of an outer compression nut and an inner compression ring or ferrule. The male thread of the fitting is screwed into the thermowell or bulkhead. The probe is then inserted into the aperture at the top of the fitting to the required length. The outer compression nut is then tightened which forces the olive to compress around the outer sheath of the probe. The probe is then held securely in place and a tight seal provided

Compression fittings are used directly on probes to achieve the required insertion length in the process and to ensure the proper seating of probes into thermowells. Available in Brass or Stainless Steel.
